Dear friends of the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata and friends of music!
After the completion of the entire election process, “Spring of the Keys” welcomes the new Mayor of Kalamata Mr. Athanasios Vassilopoulos and the new Peloponnese Regional Governor Panayiotis Nikas in the spirit of cooperation required by the “New Age”.
Within the event circle “Spring of the Keys”, a “German”, a “French” and a “Greek” join forces in a surprising collaboration with a lot of music and a lot of … humor …
On Saturday 8th June at 21:00 at the “Th. Angelopoulos” Amphitheater (at the Labor Center of Kalamata), Kostas Galanis, Loukas Georgas and Stathis Gyfttakis, present works for two, four and six hands on piano, in such a way that only selfless, sincere and generous cooperation can succeed!
Works from the most famous piano repertoire are transformed, evolving, take off and sometimes … “destroyed” with imagination, humour and skill! W.A.Mozart, F. Schubert, C. Debussy, F. Chopin, S. Rachmaninoff meet in Kalamata on a night that should not be missed!
So we are waiting for you on Saturday, June 8, at 21:00,
at Th. Angelopoulos Amphitheater, Aristomenous 95!

The ” Spring of the Keys” Circle is a cycle of pianistic – mainly – recitals organized by the charitable society of FARIS of the Municipality of Kalamata and the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata with the significant sponsorship of the George & Victoria Karelia Foundation and the support of the Terpsis club.
As an institution, it has been established for 5 years and is financed in large part by the “George and Victoria Karelia Foundation”.
The aim of the circle is to present the repertoire for piano and other keyboard instruments and works of the 20th and 21st centuries; especially works by modern Greek composers.
The artistic care of the circle is undertaken by the pianist and professor of the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata, Loukas Georgas.
