With humour as a vehicle of escape, the Filmhouse club’s summer program is full of classic comedies from the past to the modern first-time films.

Apart from the regular projections, the Club will also use the beach of Kalamata, setting up a large screen and a network of collaborations to embrace the whole city. There, the Club cooperates with the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens, the Hispanic Cinema Festival of Athens, the Athens International Music Festival – FeCHA, the International Music Days of Kalamata, the Municipal Company FARIS and the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata.

There, by the sea, some of the clasic movies like “some like it Hot” and “Cinema Paradiso” will be shown in cooperation with the Elite City Hotel Resort.

Last but not least there is the full-moon night movie where the Municipal Philharmonic of Kalamata will do the soundtrack, guaranteed to make an unforgettable night.
