3rd Panhellenic Puppet Theater Festival of Kalamata, enlarged and richer this year, in collaboration with the Primary and Secondary Education Directorate of Messinia.

The Festival will be held from Sunday 12th to Sunday 19th May 2019 in Kalamata, the Central Stage of the Theater, the Amphitheater of the Philharmonic, the Experimental Stage of Kalamata and open spaces.

There are 18 ensembles from Greece and abroad and 40 puppeteers will be hosted. The Experimental Stage and the Shadow Company Konstantinos Dimitrakopoulos participate in Kalamata. The festival will include 47 puppet theatre performances, 7 seminars – workshops for adults and children, 3 theatrical events in open spaces and 2 doll exhibitions.

All morning performances will be given free of charge to students of Primary and Secondary Education.

The Festival is sponsored by the Municipality of Kalamata and the Peloponnese Region.
